We are constantly seeking intellectual property that we can proactively develop as products, processes or technology so that we can offer significant benefits to our clients. Three technology development grants have been awarded to 42 Technology to enable development of innovative concepts. A mini SMART award funded the development of a demonstrator of our novel guitar capo. This pump priming activity resulted in a successful spin out product company.

The dti granted a further SMART R&D award for us to develop demonstrations of pumpable ICE cleaning technology. This expertise has resulted in projects in novel cooling and drink systems. We have developed demonstrators of our novel dose counting design funded by an EEDA GRaD award (the successor to the SMART award).

Our creativity and styling capability was also recognised when the capo received a Gold Award from the Guitarist Magazine. It has also received much acclaim in the music industry.
