42 Technology’s innovation and creativity has been recognised by a number of awards and achievements.

We are constantly seeking intellectual property that we can proactively develop as products, processes or technology so that we can offer significant benefits to our clients. Three technology development grants have been awarded to 42 Technology to enable development of innovative concepts. In 2001 a mini SMART award funded the development of a demonstrator of our novel guitar capo. This pump priming activity has resulted in a spin out company.

The dti granted a further SMART R&D award in 2003 for us to develop demonstrations of pumpable ICE cleaning technology. This expertise has resulted in projects in novel cooling systems. Most recently a project has been started to develop demonstrators of our novel dose counting design funded by an EEDA GRaD award (the successor to the SMART award).

Our creativity and styling capability has been recognised in Nov’03 when the capo received a Gold Award from the Guitarist Magazine. It has also received acclaim in the music industry.
