A novel manufacturing process for Cadbury

Cadbury, a subsidiary of Kraft Foods, is one of the world’s best known and loved chocolate brands.

42 Technology was appointed by Cadbury to help develop a particularly challenging confectionery manufacturing process. By tapping into our extensive network of associates we brought together experiences from a diverse range of industries, allowing us to:

  • Identify a range of novel, highly creative concepts.
  • Investigate the feasibility of each and select a preferred concept for prototyping and detailed evaluation in a Cadbury factory.
  • Provide Cadbury with a novel manufacturing process that could enable a range of future market-winning products, as well as further strengthening its brand leadership in innovative chocolate, gum and candy products.

“On each project, 42 Technology provides us with a wide range of skills and expertise which is often hard to find in one place. They have supported projects from the early ideation phases, right through to full prototype development. They are particularly responsive to the speed and pace of development needed in the fast moving consumer goods business and provide a highly flexible approach on how to effectively collaborate together.”
