42 Technology was established in 1998 by Nick Campling. It grew in the following years and by 2001 it was a partnership which employed 10 industrial and mechanical design engineers with up-to-date CAD equipment.

42 Technology became a Limited company in early 2002 and has since grown to over fifteen people, delivering product development solutions to clients in a number of industry sectors such as healthcare, packaging, medical devices and industrial and consumer products.

Since incorporation, there has been further development of 42 Technology through a number of key client relationships, partnerships with product development companies with specific technical or industry sector skills, and the appointment of key experts as 42 Technology Associates.

In 2004, 42 Technology moved to Meadow Lane, St. Ives, near Cambridge where we have more space for expansion and a better working environment in which to develop products.
