Solar Thermal

Our client is a leading manufacturer of solar energy products in the UK. 42T were tasked to develop a novel building integrated Solar Thermal product targeted at the Mediterranean market. The focus of the project spanned ease of installation, mathematical modelling of performance, aesthetics and design for manufacture. Key success criteria were high performance and low cost.

Using an analytical approach to concept screening and design optimisation, proof of principle prototypes were created and tested to have market leader comparable efficiencies within 1% of the mathematical prediction.

This product is now being transferred to production.
