Success in 2002 creates job opportunities at 42 Technology

Cambridgeshire based product development company 42 Technology had a good year in 2002 enjoying an increase in sales of over 30% over the previous year in a tough marketplace. The company is confident that 2003 will again see healthy growth which will create a number of new job opportunities. With this in mind the company has already started its latest recruitment campaign.

There are immediate positions for exceptional mechanical engineers with at least three years experience of product development. Specifically the company is looking for creativity, good analytical skills and design for manufacture experience.

"Last year’s increase in turnover means the company now needs two additional team members " said Managing Director, Nick Campling. "I believe our growth targets for this year are perfectly attainable, and we will also be looking to appoint additional staff in the industrial design team."

Since 1998, 42 Technology has established a strong track record for successful innovative product developments in the healthcare, industrial and consumer products and packaging industries. Whilst the initial focus centred around clever mechanical systems, the company’s industry-experienced engineers and product designers now embrace a wider range of technologies including physics, sensors, and industrial design.

42’s business model enables it to offer a particularly cost efficient service. Overheads are minimised by working with clients either in its own laboratories or on site. It also calls on a wide range of associates, experts and specialist partners from around the UK, which both expands its scope and reduces fixed costs.
