The opportunity

We are a friendly company of 40 permanent employees, working in a challenging and creative environment. We are looking for two high calibre engineering graduates to help us continue our recent growth. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering excellent project performance for clients; they will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, technically excellent, business savvy and a strong communicator.

The role

Your core responsibility will be creating value for clients through the delivery of new products and services. You will work with new and existing clients to develop opportunities and work with the 42T management team as part of a world-class consultancy.

42 Technology has a very strong technical team, with expertise ranging across electromechanical systems, thermal and fluidic analysis, manufacturing innovation, and mechanical design. Candidates must bring a similar strength in the technical domain, with the business acumen to develop an effective interface between the internal project team and the client’s business needs.

We offer a competitive package including a salary of £30,000 plus bonus, 28 days holiday and benefits.

About you

You will have:

  • A passion and talent for mechanical engineering and product design
  • A strong technical degree in a relevant subject from a well-reputed institution
  • Excellent, engaging communication skills, with the ability to rapidly explain your work to colleagues and clients
  • The ability to participate as part of creative, multi-disciplinary teams on a wide range of problems
  • Full UK driving licence, UK work permit (if required), valid passport and willingness to travel internationally

Ideally you will have:

  • Practical engineering experience, perhaps from previous experience, hobby level activities or as part of academic projects
  • Interest in structuring, planning and costing research and engineering projects
